Jeremy's Tree Service

About Jeremy's Tree Service

Frost forms first over the water at Crawford County State Fishing Lake, spreading out from the flooded strip pits before it ever touches the drier ground around Girard itself, and that's usually Jeremy's Tree Service's cue that the morning's about to turn to real winter work. The crew's trucks carry both a plow blade and a chainsaw kit, since Girard's older neighborhoods still mix mature trees with driveways narrow enough that one bad limb can block both at once. Work starts close to town center, then follows the county roads out toward the lake where weekend cabins sit empty most of the winter but still need a cleared lane for whoever checks on them. By midmorning, the low sun off the frozen pits throws long shadows across driveways already plowed clean, salt crystals catching the light where the blade passed last.
