Legacy tree service

About Legacy tree service

On the open plains around Geneseo every tree counts: shelterbelts of cedar and cottonwood stand against the wind, and a big shade tree beside a house is a treasure. Legacy Tree Service looks after Geneseo's trees and the turf in their shade, offering tree work along with lawn care across this little Rice County town. Plains trees take a beating, with straight-line winds snapping limbs, ice glazing branches and drought leaving deadwood high in the crown. Pruning away the damage and picking up the downed wood lets a tree go on shading the house for summers to come. The name speaks to what a tended tree becomes, something handed down, and there is a particular peace in a Geneseo yard on a hot afternoon beneath a trimmed canopy with the lawn neatly mown below.
