About Milner Lawn & Leaf LLC

By mid-October the older streets in Gardner go gold overnight and then let it all down at once, pin oaks and maples burying the turf inside a week. Milner Lawn & Leaf LLC works both halves of that year: mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, then the long autumn haul of clearing leaves off the grass before they mat down and smother it. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass across a yard in November — bare beds, open turf, everything breathing again. Cold comes in off the open ground west of town and the work gets quieter with it. Then the grass sleeps, and April gets a fair start.
