AJ's Lawn Service

About AJ's Lawn Service

On a June evening in Gardner the thunderheads stack up over the fields west of Moonlight Road, and everybody outside works with one eye on the sky. AJ's Lawn Service knows that window — the hour after supper when the heat finally lets go, the fireflies rise out of the grass, and a lawn can still be finished before the first rain hits. Mowing, string trimming, edging, and a full blow-down of the drive: nothing exotic, just carried all the way into the corners. When the storm passes through and the sun comes back low and gold, the yard is standing there tidy and waiting for it. Gardner is home base, with work running out toward Edgerton, Spring Hill, and New Century.
