About Steve Finley Lawn Care

Steve Finley knows which Fredonia driveways slope toward the street and which pitch back toward the garage — the kind of detail that matters when ice picks a direction to run. The truck works the same lawns in January that it mowed in July, drive by drive, starting on the quieter residential streets near the edge of Fredonia's original town plat and working outward as the morning goes on. Wilson County's winter sky can go from flat gray to hard blue in an afternoon, and a driveway plowed at noon can need a second pass by four if the wind has picked up. Finley's routine handles that: check, clear, salt, and check again before dark. It's unglamorous, repeated work, but a driveway that's actually clear when someone needs to leave for a night shift is worth more than most things get credit for.
