About Falling Tree Services

Fredonia's older streets are lined with bur oaks and hackberries planted a century back, and every one of them turns heavy and creaking when an ice storm moves through Wilson County. Falling Tree Services keeps its bucket trucks ready for exactly that, but the same equipment pulls driveway and lot duty once the ice gives way to plain snow. Out past the edge of town, where the Fall River bottomland flattens into pasture, a single unplowed lane can strand a place for a day, so the truck runs those roads early. Back in town, the routine is simpler: clear the drive, clear the walk to the door, spread salt before the next front comes through. It's plain work, done at an hour most of Fredonia is still asleep for.
