Sober's Lawn Care

About Sober's Lawn Care

August afternoons in Emporia build a wall of cloud out west past the turnpike, and anybody with a mower learns to watch it. Sober's Lawn Care works the window ahead of the rain — cutting tall through the dry stretch, trimming close along fences and foundations, sweeping the clippings off concrete before the first gust arrives. Lawns go brown here and they come back; the job is keeping them even either way. When the storm finally breaks the heat and the turf jumps overnight, the route tightens right back to weekly. Steady hands, ordinary tools, Emporia yards held in line.
