General Lawn Care

About General Lawn Care

Freight rolls through Emporia at all hours, and on Saturday mornings in the older grid the sound of a mower answers it. General Lawn Care works those close-set streets — the narrow terrace between sidewalk and curb, the deep back lot under hackberry shade, the corner where three yards meet and none of the lines agree. Each one gets cut, trimmed around the meter lid and the clothesline pole, and swept off the walk before the truck moves on. Small lawns reward attention more than big ones do, because every pass shows. Block by block the neighborhood comes back level and cared for, which is the whole point of the work.
