About American Tree Care LLC

Down where the Cottonwood River bends along the edge of Emporia, the cottonwoods and sycamores hold their ice longer than the rest of town does. That stretch is where American Tree Care LLC does its steadiest winter work. Clearing here means more than the driveway itself — it means keeping the ground under those heavy limbs walkable when ice sheets over what's underneath. The crew works lot to lot with the same care it would give a trim job, guiding the plow around root flare and low branch alike so nothing gets scraped that shouldn't. A driveway scraped down to bare pavement under a stand of frosted cottonwoods is the kind of morning this crew works toward. Emporia's river bottoms stay cold long after its open ground has thawed, and the routes here are planned around that every time.
