About Slechta Enterprises

South of Ellsworth the ground climbs into open wheat country, flat enough that a hard wind can carry snow clear across a section before it finally settles, and that's the stretch Slechta Enterprises works hardest after any real storm. Long rural driveways out there get the first pass, since a drifted lane can leave someone stranded well past when the wind itself has quit. From the high ground the crew works down toward Ellsworth, clearing driveways street by street through the older residential blocks near town. Shaded draws along the route tend to hold their ice longest, so those spots get watched closest on the way in. Nightfall finds the wheat stubble holding the day's last light, and the section-road drives this crew reached that morning are still holding their edge by then.
