About Lawn Care Plus LLC

Douglass wakes up slow on a cold morning, frost thick over the Walnut River bottoms and the old pumpjacks south of town still nodding under a gray sky before anyone's up to notice. Lawn Care Plus LLC starts on the streets closest to Main Street, clearing driveways and walks so porch lights aren't the only thing on before the school buses start running. From there the crew works east toward the river, where cold settles heaviest in the low ground, taking extra time on the steps and short inclines that ice first. Salt goes down once the concrete underneath is fully scraped clear, since laying it over packed snow just wastes it. By midmorning, with the grain elevator finally catching real sun, the streets this crew has already worked are dry while the low ground by the river is only just starting to thaw.
