About Logan's Tree & Landscape Design LLC

Redbuds go off like a rumor in April, up and down Derby's older streets and around the edges of Garrett Park, and a week later everything green is racing. That's when the mowing season truly opens: a first pass set a little high, then a steady weekly line as the fescue thickens and the Bermuda wakes underneath it. Trees make the difference in these yards — shade to mow around, root flare to trim by hand, litter to pull off the bed lines so the turf can breathe at its borders. Finish a yard well and the shape of the place shows up on its own: lawn, bed and tree, each with a border you could follow with your eye. Derby and the neighboring towns east and south.
