About Lawn Art

Late afternoon is when a mown lawn shows its drawing — light raking sideways across the blades until every pass reads like a pencil stroke. Lawn Art works for that hour. Straight lines, a hard edge where turf meets concrete, trimming tight to posts and downspouts, and not one clipping left on the walk to spoil the composition. In De Soto the ground rolls down toward the river and few lots are truly square, so holding a pattern takes some thinking. Mowing, edging, cleanup, and seed in the fall — a short list, done with attention, week after week.
