Fresh Cut Lawn Care

About Fresh Cut Lawn Care

Concordia wakes early. Before the sun clears the east edge of Cloud County, dew still sits heavy on the lawns along Broadway and the Brown Grand's marquee is dark. Fresh Cut Lawn Care starts right there, mowing while the grass is cool, trimming close around porch steps and hydrants, running the blower down the walks so nothing tracks indoors. By mid-morning the smell of cut grass has settled over the whole block, which is more or less the point of the name. Spring and fall bring the cleanups — last year's leaves out of the beds, the yard opened up in April and closed down in November.
