Progressive Lawn Care

About Progressive Lawn Care

A hard freeze out of the north can lock a Sedgwick County storm down fast, turning an inch of snow into a sheet of ice by morning, and that's when Progressive Lawn Care switches its attention from Colwich's yards to the driveways in front of them. The crew works street by street through Colwich's small residential grid, clearing driveways and front walks before the rest of the county roads even get plowed. Out here between Wichita and the open farmland, a town this size depends on its own crews to keep it moving when the highway crews are busy elsewhere. A driveway scraped clean before breakfast is a small thing, but it's the same care that goes into a summer lawn, just aimed at a different season.
