Earth Works

About Earth Works

The first mow of May in northwest Kansas is a loud, green, deeply satisfying thing after months of brown, and the sun comes up over Thomas County with nothing at all in the way to slow it. Earth Works takes lawns from that morning forward — cutting, trimming, edging, and the cleanups that bracket either end of the growing season. Colby stands on high ground where the light runs long and the wind is honest, and grass that thrives here has been coaxed into it. Getting a yard to lie even under that much open sky is the whole job and its own reward. They serve Colby and the towns nearby, from Brewster east to Rexford and Menlo.
