About Colby Salvage Metal Co

By late October the wind swings north and Colby wakes up under frost, the kind that silvers metal and stiffens the last of the season's grass. Colby Salvage Metal Co works lawns here — mowing while the growing lasts, trimming and edging, then the fall cleanups that get a yard buttoned down before the hard weather arrives. There is a particular pleasure in the final cut of the year: everything level, everything swept, the whole place ready to sit still for months. This is open ground, and anything left untended out here shows it fast. They cover Colby, Levant, Gem and the roads between.
