Sebert and Son's Lawn Care

About Sebert and Son's Lawn Care

Late October turns the sycamores loose all at once in Coffeyville, and by evening the brick streets over near Walter Johnson Park lie papered in gold. That is the season Sebert and Son's Lawn Care leans into — leaves raked, blown and hauled clear of the turf before they mat down and smother it through the cold months. The warm half of the year is steadier work: mowing on a set day, trimming the fence lines, cutting a firm edge along drives and walks so a yard keeps its shape instead of creeping. There is real satisfaction in the walk back to the truck at dusk, past grass that is level, bare and breathing again. When the first hard freeze settles over the Verdigris bottoms and the yards go quiet, they've been put to bed the right way.
