About Elite Lawn Care LLC

The Ninnescah River gives Clearwater its name and its clearest water, and by the time a south-central Kansas cold snap locks that same water under ice, Elite Lawn Care LLC has already switched from mowers to plows for the season. Clearwater's streets run flat and open between the river and the wheat ground to the west, and a winter storm off the plains can bury a driveway in a drift half as tall as the mailbox beside it. The crew works the town's residential blocks first, clearing driveways and walkways before turning to the open lots at the edge of town where the wind has really had room to work. Sedgwick County winters tend to be short but sharp, and getting a driveway scraped clean between one cold snap and the next matters as much to the people who live there as any summer mowing does. By the time the Ninnescah runs clear again in spring, the same crew is back out along its banks, having spent the winter keeping the town's driveways just as clear.
