Martin Mowing & Lawn Care

About Martin Mowing & Lawn Care

The first warm Saturday of March gets all of Chanute outside at once, and the yards look every bit like they slept through the winter. Martin Mowing & Lawn Care starts the year right there: matted grass raked out, sticks and winter debris carried off, the first cut set a little low to wake the turf up. Downtown the old Santa Fe depot still anchors the blocks around it, and the neighborhoods spread out from there in easy walking grids. Every week after that, the route runs — mow, trim, edge, one clean pass at the curb. It is ordinary, repeated work, and done right it makes a whole street look loved.
