Windy Ridge Lawn care

About Windy Ridge Lawn care

In Burrton the wind is a fixed feature, coming across the Harvey County wheat flats with nothing between here and the horizon to slow it down. Windy Ridge Lawn care mows in it anyway — clippings streaming sideways, the elevator standing up over town, US-50 humming a quarter mile off. Summers run hot and bright on this stretch of sand-country ground, and a lawn needs a steady hand: cut at the right height, trimmed close around the mailbox post, edged where concrete meets turf. Come October the cottonwoods let go all at once, and the yard wants clearing before the wind files every leaf against the fence. Big sky, small town, straight lines in the grass.
