About Knopp Services, LLC

West of Hutchinson, Buhler sits low against the flat wheat ground of Reno County, where a January wind can pick up loose snow off bare stubble and lay it back down in a drift three feet high along the very fence line it started from. Knopp Services works those section-line roads and the driveways that branch off them, arriving ahead of the wind rather than behind it, so a farmstead lane stays a lane and not a windbreak of its own making. In town, the work is shorter but no less exact — clearing the walk up to a Buhler front porch, the drive back to the garage, the apron in front of the elevator office before the morning trucks start rolling grain. The company treats a driveway the same in December as it treats a hedge row in June: cut clean, kept open, no wasted motion. Snow removal here is a plainspoken job done for plainspoken ground, across Buhler and the wheat towns that ring it.
