About K. C. Arborist

Bucyrus sits back in the timber and rolling pasture of eastern Miami County, where the oaks and hickories that K. C. Arborist knows by their bark in July stand bare and rimmed in frost come January. The company spends its warm months reading canopy and root line; in winter it reads driveways the same close way, knowing exactly where a farm lane dips under old tree cover and holds ice long after the open fields around it have dried. Gravel lanes here wind past hedgerows and creek draws before they ever reach blacktop, and a plow has to know each one's low spot and blind curve, not just push a blade straight through. K. C. Arborist clears those lanes, the house drives at the end of them, and the walks up to the door, working the timbered stretch of Miami County the same patient way it works a tree line. Snow removal is the winter half of a business built on knowing this ground, tree by tree and drive by drive, around Bucyrus.
