About LeManske Lawn & Hardscapes LLC

Dig anywhere around Basehor and you find heavy clay over limestone, ground that will grow a deep stand of fescue and fight you for every bed edge. LeManske Lawn & Hardscapes LLC works with that rather than against it: mowing at a height that shades the roots, cutting bed edges by hand where the shape matters, mulching to hold moisture through the dry end of summer. Weekly maintenance carries the growing months, with cleanups bracketing them on either end. In late October, when the maples on the older streets go copper, the leaves come out in one thorough sweep. What's left looks deliberate, which is the whole idea.
