Cletus Cuts Lawn Service

About Cletus Cuts Lawn Service

Down toward Stranger Creek the low ground holds its dew until mid-morning, and the first pass of the day cuts a dark wet stripe through all that silver. Cletus Cuts Lawn Service works that early hour on purpose, while the grass still stands up honest and before the Kansas heat leans on it. Mowing, string trimming and a thorough blow-down of the drive are the whole job, done the same way at every stop. By afternoon the lawn has dried into an even, level green and the truck has moved on to the next street in Basehor. It is plain work, and it is a pleasure to look back at.
