About HJB Outdoor Services

High noon in July, and Arlington is all cicada song and heat shimmer, the Reno County flatland running out in every direction under a sky with nowhere to hide. The cottonwoods throw the only real shade, their leaves clattering in the breeze like a pocketful of loose change. HJB Outdoor Services gives lawns in this small town a regular going-over, mowing them even, trimming close around trunks and posts, and sweeping up the clippings before they bake on the sidewalk. Summer grass out here fights to stay green, and a yard mowed on a dependable rhythm wears the heat better. By evening, when the air lets go and the porch lights blink on, an HJB yard looks cool enough to cross barefoot.
