About Hinman Tree Trimming and Outdoor Services

Southeast Kansas turns rolling and more wooded right around Altamont, where Labette County's pastures break up into oak and hickory stands instead of running flat to the horizon the way the western part of the state does. Hinman Tree Trimming and Outdoor Services works those small-town blocks and the farm lanes just outside them, clearing driveways that often sit at the end of a long tree-lined lane rather than opening straight onto a section road. Snow moves in on a softer wind here than out on the plains, but the tree cover means shaded patches of ice can hang on for days after open ground has cleared. The crew treats those shaded lanes as return trips, not one-and-done work, checking back once the sun has had a chance to work on the open stretches. This corner of Kansas looks and behaves differently than the rest of the state in winter, and the routes are built around that difference.
