About Terre Vista, LLC

Alta Vista means 'high view,' and the name keeps its word: from the edge of town the Flint Hills of Wabaunsee County roll off in long folds of grass beneath a sky that seems to run on forever. Terre Vista, LLC, an earth view to answer the town's high one, brings its mowers to the yards set down inside all that openness. Evening is the hour to see this country, when the low sun turns the prairie copper and old dry-laid stone fences throw long shadows down the slopes. In town, a lawn mowed level and edged sharp makes its own small vista, worth slowing down for. The work is grounded and unhurried, like the hills around it.
