Connor’s Lawn & Landscape

About Connor’s Lawn & Landscape

Late May in Winfield: the little kettle ponds hold the last of the light, fireflies lift out of the grass, and everything green is growing faster than anyone can quite keep up with. Connor's Lawn & Landscape keeps up with it anyway — weekly mowing, trimming along fences and pond edges, cleanups for the week the cottonwood lets go and covers the neighborhood in white. This corner of Lake County rolls, so slopes and damp low corners get the same care as the easy flat middle of a yard. There's genuine pleasure in a lawn brought back under control after a stretch of wet weather. Evening arrives, the engines go quiet, and the yard sits there looking looked-after.
