Monon Lawn & Landscape

About Monon Lawn & Landscape

By six on an August morning the Monon Greenway already has runners on it, the pavement cool for another hour and the air thick enough to see. Monon Lawn & Landscape takes advantage of that window, getting the mowing done while the dew still weighs the blades down and the heat has not yet settled over Westfield. Trimming and edging follow the same pass, cutting a clean seam along the trail-side fences and the front walks of the neighborhoods that back up to it. Late in the season the work becomes cleanups, clearing what the sycamores and cottonwoods shed along the corridor. There is real pride in pulling off a street before most of it has finished its coffee.
