Hoosier Lawn Care

About Hoosier Lawn Care

Drive out any direction from Westfield in September and the subdivisions give way to corn standing dry and rattling in the wind, with the US 31 traffic humming north toward Kokomo. Hoosier Lawn Care works that seam where the town meets the township, mowing, trimming, and edging yards that back up to fields older than the streets in front of them. Harvest season brings dust and stubble and a shortening of the days, and the mowing route thins out while the leaf work picks up. Grass here is stubborn stuff, holding on through August heat and coming back green after the first real rain, and it rewards a blade kept sharp. A finished yard, blown clean and squared at the edges, is a small piece of order set against a lot of open country.
