Dorsey Lawn Care

About Dorsey Lawn Care

Old Westfield still follows the grid its Quaker founders laid out, Union Street running straight through the middle with side lawns opening off it in long green rectangles. Dorsey Lawn Care starts early on those blocks, back when the dew is heavy enough to darken a boot and the town is quiet enough to hear a mower two streets over. The work is mowing, string trimming, and edging, with leaf removal once the canopy over those older streets starts letting go. By mid-morning the passes read straight down the yard and the trimmed line along a picket fence is as true as a chalked one. It is unglamorous, repeatable work, and a street of it done right changes the whole feel of a block.
