About KindScape Solutions

Away from Purdue's lecture halls, West Lafayette is a town of steep little yards cut into the bluff, driveways that climb from the street at an angle no flatland plow ever has to think about, and KindScape Solutions has learned every one of them by feel more than by address. Winter here tends to arrive in stages — a skin of ice first, snow layered on top of it after — the kind of morning that makes a shoveled walk worth more than a shoveled street. This crew starts on the steepest drives while the rest of the hill is still dark, always working downhill, the one direction a blade can travel safely on that grade. Something honest sits in clearing a path exactly to where the concrete ends and not an inch further, leaving a yard's own snow for the kids and dogs who'll still want it later. By full morning the bluff's narrow streets are lined with clean rectangles of blacktop, each one cut to fit the exact house it belongs to.
