About Antibus services

West Lafayette sits up on its own bluff above the Wabash, and before sunrise you can watch the river valley below hold its fog while the streets up top stay clear and cold — a split in the weather that makes this town its own small puzzle to plow. Antibus Services works the sloped streets that drop toward the water, where a driveway pitched down toward the river needs an entirely different pass than one laid flat back from the bluff's edge. Purdue's lecture halls sit dark and salted before the first bell of the morning, students still asleep in houses whose front walks were cleared while they slept. Getting a slope right shows in the blade's angle, tipped just enough to shed snow sideways instead of shoving it back uphill into somebody's steps — a small adjustment that makes all the difference on this terrain. By the time the bluff catches full daylight, the fog below has burned off the river and the streets above run bare from the crest all the way down to the water.
