About Cross Cut Lawn Service
In Waynetown the grain elevator is the tallest thing for miles, and the wind comes across the section-line fields with nothing to slow it. Cross Cut Lawn Service works the small grid of streets under that big sky, mowing in clean opposing passes so the turf lays over in alternating bands. Trimming follows, then an edge cut along the sidewalks, then the walks blown clear back toward the lawn. Montgomery County grass runs fast in May and June and slows by August, and the schedule bends to match it. A row of yards done end to end down one block is a satisfying thing to look back on.
