Stephen's Lawn Care

About Stephen's Lawn Care

Down south of town the East Fork of the White River runs through bottomland that greens up early, and spring reaches Washington's yards not long after. Stephen's Lawn Care starts the season with the redbuds still lit along the fencerows, clearing winter's litter off the turf before the first cut of the year. Then it settles into the routine that carries through: mowing, string trimming, edging where lawn meets pavement, walks blown clean. Daviess County ground holds water after a wet week, so the timing of a cut is a judgment call and worth making well. That first tidy stripe across a lawn in April is a small annual promise, and keeping it is the whole point.
