Wake Front

About Wake Front

On a July Saturday the lakes around Warsaw are loud with boats, and the cottage lawns that slope down to the docks take a beating from every wet foot and beached kayak. Wake Front keeps that ground holding: mowing the slopes, trimming clean around seawalls, posts and boathouse corners, and reseeding the worn tracks where everybody walks to the water. Shoreline turf in Kosciusko County lives a strange life — soaked at the bottom of the yard, baked at the top — so it gets cut and fed with both halves in mind. The crew works the weekday quiet, so the lawn is done and swept before the weekend crowd comes back. A lakeside yard that stays thick right to the water's edge is the whole point.
