About Kuhn Robert

September evenings around Waldron carry the sound of combines two fields over and the dust hanging gold in the last hour of light. That is a fine time to be finishing a lawn. Kuhn Robert works the yards along the old rail grade and out the gravel roads — mowing, trimming close around fence lines, posts and outbuildings, edging where the walk has started to disappear under the turf. Fall brings the cleanup: leaves off the grass, clippings off the concrete, the yard put in order before the cold sets in. There is quiet pride in pulling out of a drive at dusk and seeing the whole place look settled.
