Spring Green

About Spring Green

Storms in April come in from the northwest with the lake behind them, and two days later Valparaiso is a different color entirely. Spring Green works that color: lawn care built on feeding turf, treating weeds where they actually stand, and mowing to a height that lets grass carry itself into July. A yard responds slowly and then all at once, and the trick is being there for both halves of that. Trimming and edging finish the picture, and the hard surfaces get cleared so the whole property reads clean from the driveway. Steady, unhurried work, with the reward being a lawn that keeps its color deep into a dry August.
