About Dirt Works Excavating & Landscaping

Salt Creek runs the low side of town, and the ground that slopes down toward it holds water long after a spring storm has moved east. Yards like that want somebody who reads the grade before rolling a mower onto them, and Dirt Works Excavating & Landscaping works with the shape of the land it is standing on. The weekly rounds are lawn care first — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing off what the wind and the deck leave behind. In May the growth comes fast enough to need a firm hand; by late August the same lawn wants a lighter touch and a taller cut. Knowing which week is which is most of the job.
