About Stevens Property services

Snow falling at night over South Bend's east side has a particular hush to it, streetlights turning each flake gold for a second along Ironwood before it settles onto a driveway that will need clearing by morning. Stevens Property services works that overnight window on purpose, running routes while most of the neighborhood sleeps so that the driveways and walkways are already bare by the time anyone needs to leave for work. It's quiet work, done in headlights and mirror-checks, plow blade scraping down to pavement one property at a time along streets that all look the same shade of blue-white under a fresh cover. By morning, the difference is obvious even if nobody saw it happen — some driveways buried under six inches, others swept clean to the concrete, porch lights reflecting off wet blacktop instead of snow. South Bend gets its share of these overnight storms that seem to build out of nowhere, and this crew treats the dark hours as just another shift, not an inconvenience to work around.
