About Burrows Lawn & Landscaping

Early on a summer morning downtown, before anyone runs the East Race, the water just slides past Seitz Park and the city is quiet enough to hear a mower two streets over. That is the hour Burrows Lawn & Landscaping likes best — dew still on the blades, the day's heat not yet decided. They mow, edge and trim on a regular schedule, then blow the drives and sidewalks clean so a yard reads finished from the curb. A lawn cut early holds its line all day, and that is most of the pleasure of the job. South Bend hands them about thirty growing weeks to keep up with, and they take them one block at a time.
