About Above & Beyond Tree and Shrubbery Service

Before the sun clears the bend where the St. Joseph River turns hard south through downtown, the oaks along Leeper Park still wear last night's frost like lace. Above & Beyond Tree and Shrubbery Service has spent enough winters here to know which branches need a hand before an ice load splits them, and which driveways need the plow before the first commute crosses the river bridges. Snow falls heavy some mornings, quiet and fast, and a cleared walk by first light means nobody slips on their way past a South Bend front door. There's a particular satisfaction in a driveway scraped to bare concrete while the rest of the block is still buried — a small, clean line drawn against a gray sky. South Bend earns its name from that river bend, and this crew earns its keep working the ground beneath the same trees, season after heavy season.
