Berners lawn care

About Berners lawn care

Silver Lake sits small and bright in the middle of Kosciusko County, and the yards that lean toward its water wake up soaked — dew off the lake by six, grass heavy with it until the sun clears the tree line. Berners lawn care starts the mowing there, working the shoreline lots and the village blocks while the morning is still cool enough to make the work pleasant. Mowing, trimming around posts and mailboxes and dock stairs, a crisp edge run along every walk, and the clippings blown off the drive instead of left to track indoors. Later the route moves out to the flat ground east of town, where the lawns run long between corn rows and the wind never really quits. It is a plain kind of pride: you can stand at the road and see exactly where the work stopped and the field began.
