About Stephen’s Landscaping

Downtown Shelbyville in May keeps its brick storefronts and its slower pace, and the green in front of them matters more than people realize — a strip of turf by a doorway, a bed under a sign, the little yard behind a shop. Stephen's Landscaping tends those in-between pieces along with the houses on the surrounding streets: mowing what there is to mow, edging so the line against the brick reads sharp, mulching beds dark, keeping shrubs from crowding a walk. Small spaces show every shortcut, which is exactly why they're worth doing carefully. When the block looks kept, the whole street feels like somebody's home.
