About Mathies Landscaping Inc.

October turns Shelby County the color of cider, and by the time the light goes long over the water at Sunset Park the leaves are coming down faster than anyone can rake them. Mathies Landscaping Inc. takes that season head on: leaf removal load after load, the last mowings of the year cut a touch lower, aeration to open compacted ground, overseeding so the thin places come back thick in April. Beds get cut back and topped off before the first hard frost silvers the fields. There is something restful about a yard put properly to bed — clean turf, clean edges, nothing left to blow into the neighbor's drive. Shelbyville earns its autumns, and they're worth doing right.
