Mcfarlin & son's Lawncare

About Mcfarlin & son's Lawncare

South and west of Seymour the flat country runs up against the knobs, and by October the wooded ridges toward Brownstown turn rust and gold above the fields. McFarlin & Son's Lawncare works that late stretch of the year, when the mowing slows down and the leaf fall speeds up. Each pass mulches what has come down and takes another quarter inch off the grass, so lawns do not mat under the wet weeks ahead. Trimming and edging redraw the borders that summer growth blurred, and a full cleanup empties the beds and corners. A yard finished in that low autumn light looks like it has been put to bed properly.
