About JB & Sons Lawn Care

Four in the morning in January, and the thermometer on the truck dash reads nineteen: that is the shift. JB & Sons Lawn Care runs snow and ice work around Seymour — plowing drives, shoveling and clearing walkways, and putting salt down where a slope faces north and never catches sun. East Tennessee takes its winter in short bursts, so everything depends on being out ahead of the traffic that packs snow into glaze. There is something to standing in an emptied lot at first light, steam lifting off the pavement, knowing nobody pulling in will give it a thought. That is more or less the entire point of the work.
