About JB & Sons Lawn Care

Fair week comes to the Jackson County fairgrounds in July, and for a few days Seymour smells like fryer oil, livestock and hot grass. JB & Sons Lawn Care works the weeks on either side of it, when Indiana humidity settles over town and the turf grows in surges after every storm. Mowing then is all about timing — catching a yard while the ground is firm, cutting high enough that the roots keep their shade. Trimming and edging tidy the fence lines and mailbox posts, and the cleanup keeps clippings from tracking up onto the porch. A yard cut fresh cools quicker in the evening, and the porch is worth sitting on again.
