LAWN WORKS

About LAWN WORKS

By mid-July the grass around Sellersburg has gone tough and the cicadas build a wall of sound that lasts the whole afternoon. LAWN WORKS runs straight through it — mowing, trimming, edging drives and sidewalks, and cleaning the clippings off every hard surface before the truck rolls on. Heat like this rewards a sharp blade and a plan: cut high enough to hold moisture, straight enough that the lines read from the mailbox. There's something steadying about a lawn that keeps its shape in the worst week of the summer. Sellersburg yards, and the ones in the towns just past it, are worked that way all season long.
